NEW ZEALAND DOG TRIALS
RESULTS ANNOUNCED FOR ZIG-ZAG HUNTAWAY (New Zealand Press Association) GISBORNE, June 6. The final results for the North Island and New Zealand in the zig-zag huntaway event at the dog trials at Puha were announced at the conclusion of to-day s runs. The results are:— G Thomson’s Roff (Masterton), first in North Island, with 971 points, and first In New Zealand, with 190} points; J. Anderson's Chum (Omaramara), third in the North Island, with 95} points, and second in New Zealand, with' 189} points; K. M. Gollan’s Roy (Walpawa), second in North Island, with 97 points, and third in New Zealand, with 188} points; A. M. Lincoln’s Pete (Waimata), fifth In North Island, with 94 points, and fourth in New Zealand, with 185} points; J. C. Wedd’s Rowdy (Hastings), fourth in North Island, with 95 points, and fifth in New Zealand, with 182 points: A. H. Davis’s Joe (Raetihi), sixth in North Island, with 93} points, and sixth 1 in New Zealand, with 180 points; B. Lopdell’s Tyke ' (Napier), seventh in North Island, with 93 points, and seventh in New Zealand, with 178} points.
