CHINESE TANKER SEIZED
(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) HONG KONG. April 11 Police riot squads to-day boarded and took control of a Chinese Communist tanker, the Yunghao. anchored in Hong Kong harbour. They took this action because the company had failed to hand over the ship under a requisitioning order issued on Monday. The order was based on emergency regulations enforced op Saturday and said the ship was required in the nublic interest for the Roval Naw. The crew, numbering about 80. offered no opposition.
The Hong Kong Government said negotiations concerning the rate of com non sat ion pivable for the requisitioning of the Yunghao were now in progress.
