FREE LABOUR ON WATERFRONT
NO DECISION MADE YET From Our Own Reporter WELLINGTON, March 4. „ No decision has been made by the Government about the use of free labour on the waterfront. The Minister of Labour (Mr W Sullivan) made this statement this evening in reply to an inquiry about rumours that free labour was to be used on the wharves to-morrow. • Replying to another question about the sailing of the Calm, now being loaded at Timaru .by servicemen, Mr Sullivan said that the Government hoped that the vessel would have completed loading by to-morrow night or on Tuesday.
