FINANCES OF DENMARK
(Rec. 8 p.m.) COPENHAGEN. Nov. 7. The Danish Prime Minister (Mr Erik Eriksen) told Parliament to-day that Denmark had no time to lose in solving her current financial problems. “Our first efforts must be directed at fighting inflation, which is threatening the Danish economy,’’ he said. "Because of the country’s serious economic position credit must be restricted. Our difficulties are clearly reflected in the ever-growing deficit in bur balance of foreign payments. We must bring about a limitation of consumption and. at the same time, an increase in production.”
