CITY DECORATIONS
Sir,—The Government has set a fine example to the rest of the business community by its decoration of the departmental buildings for the centennial celebrations. May I suggest that all business houses fly their flags and put out bunting from now till the celebrations finish, so that our city may look really grand to our visitors, and also so that our young people may appreciate the significance of these celebrations. A little cost in these circumstances will surely be amply rewarded. Finally, a word of appreciation to the City Council for the veritable fairyland in the Square just now.—Yours, etc., A PATRIOT. November 7. 1950.
