BURMA’S VIEW ON KOREA

.Rec. 11.30 p.m.) RANGOON, Sept. 6. The Burmese Parliament to-day ap- £ roved, with only one dissenting vote, le Government’s support of the United Nations action m Korea. The Prime Minister (Mr Thakin Nu) told Parliament that Burma had very meagre resources at her disposal and had joined the United Nations primarily for reasons of security, but Burma's declared policy was that she would not join any power bloc. The Government was resolved to align itself with neither the Russian nor the British and American blocs. Burma would support any move to «eat the Chinese Communist representatives in the United Nations.
