COMMUNIST YOUTH IN GERMANY
BAN ANNOUNCED ON ORGANISATIONS (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 6. A ban on all parades and open-air meetings of the blue-shirted Communist “Free German Youth” organisation and its satellite bodies in the Ruhr and the Rhineland was imposed by the German State Government yesterday, says the British United Press correspondent at Dusseldorf. The president, Mr Karl Arnold, said mat these measures had been taken *°r public security reasons. The ban will take effect immediately and will include the Communist Peace Fighters’’ Committee and the Action Group of Youth for a United Germany.’’
