The Auckland Citizens’ and Ratepayers’ Association decided last night to ndrhinftte Mr J. L. Co&klGy as itfe candidate in th 6 city Mayoral Election to be held in November. ’ It was said at tha meeting that the matter of supporting the present Mayor (Sir John Allum) had been given careful consideration, but it had been decided that Mr Coakley should be nominated. •
