RECOGNISED NEW ZEALANDER AFTER 23 YEARS When a party of 20 overseas visitors to England was being entertained on a three-day visit to Bungay, the party was taken to the* Royal Norfolk Show, where its members were introduced to the King and Queen. The King recognised one of them. In the subsequent conversation it was revealed that the man recognised by the King, Mr Philip Skoglund, of New Zealand, had been introduced to Their Majesties when they toured New Zealand as the Duke and Duchess of York in 1927. The visit to Bungay was arranged by the Victoria League, and the pa.ty included visitors from Australia. New Zealand, South Africa, and Fiji. Mr Skoglund is a brother of Miss M. Skoglund, secretary of the Canterbury branch of the Victoria League.
