An enjoyable open evening for members and friends of the Australian Club of Canterbury was held in Hay’s lounge. Films on industry and on flora and fauna in Australia were shown by Mr Bryce. The High Commissioner for Australia provided the films. Postmen Wanted.—The Post Office is seeking more postmen for suburban rounds. Men between the ages of 21 and 35 are preferred.
