PURGE MADE IN* HUNGARY
ANTI COMMUNISTS FACE ARREST OR DISMISSAL ■LONDON. August 6. Several hundred anti-Communist officials have been arrested or dismissed in a new purge carried out in Hungary on a scale which indicates that the regime has embarked on an all-out campaign of violence and intimidation to enforce the latest production drive, says the Vienna correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph.” Reports reaching Vienna state that the purge appears to be the largest since that of last summer, following the arrest of the Commun , "st Foreign Minister. Mr Rajk, and it includes leading trade union leaders and the chairmen of utilities boards.
