SOUTHLAND TEAM TO MEET CANTERBURY
(New Zealand Press Association) , INVERCARGILL, August 8. Only one new cap is included in the Southland Rugby team to play Canterbury on Saturday. There are several changes in the team which was selected to play Otago last week-end, three of that side—J. S. McDonald, L. S. Connolly and J. Adam—being unavailable through injury. The team announced to-day is:— Backs.—J. T. Miller, R. Harper, D. Smeaton. N. J. Bennett (captain), L. Wilson, W. Sanson, P. Creedy. Forwards. —A. Eade, B. Thompson, T. Molesworth, T. A. Budd, C. O. Ballam, C. E. Robinson, S. Ferguson, W. McCaw.
