BUS TIME-TABLES

Sir,—lt is to be hoped that our centennial visitors, both men and women, are addicted to smoking, as they will then carry matches and be able to strike one in order to read the bus time-tables in the Square. Otherwise, they may have to wait in wind and cold and dark till a bus comes along. Yours, etc., PATIENCE. June 26. 1950.

[“New time-table slips are due to be published in the near future,” said Mr J. F. Fardell. general manager of the Tramway Board, when this letter was referred to him.]
