A WARNING
Sir,—Peace and goodwill to all with a lair day’s work lor a fair day’s pay are some oi' the essentials that promote prosperity and a standard of living. The claims of certain militant tradeunion leaders and their disciples that they are battling for the good of the workers must be false; for such stuff as stop-work protest meetings, threats of rolling strikes and other disruptive tactics is the breeding ground of Communism and cannot be of advantage to workers. All comm on-sense people should be able to see and understand the ambitions and aims of these gentlemen, which, if persisted in and not checked, can have only one ending that of destroying the country’s economy, resulting in mass unemployment, poverty and disaster F or the workers and others.—Yours, etc., , . 60 YEARS A WORKER. Rakaia, June 2, 1950.
