DUNEDIN RABBITSKIN SALES
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 31. There was an offering of approximately 44 tens of rabbitskins at yesterday’s sale to a full bench of buyers. Competition was keen and well spread, and all sections of the trade were again operating. As a result prices were fully firm on late rates, with the exception of racks and dawny autumns, which were from 2d to 3d a lb easier. Following is a range of prices:— Small 143 d to 163 d a lb, light racks 42£d to 43£d, prime racks 42d to 43d, dawny autumns 38jd to 41Jd. third broken 25jd to 26£d, second broken 40id to 41jd, first broken 47d to 472 d, summers 26Jd to 31d, milky to 19d, first milky to 29Jd. third early autumns 42d to 44d, second early autumns 43d to 45£d, third late autumns 45jd to 47Jd, second late autumns 47-Jd to 49d. third incomings 46jd to 50d. second incomings 55d to 58d, third early winters 4”3d to 50d, early winter bucks 60’d to 65Jd. early winter docs 57Jd to 6Cld, runners bloodstained 35d to 40d, racks bloodstained, 41d to 42d, early autumn bloodstained 413 d to 44d. late autumn bloodstained to 483 d, early winter bloodstained 52Jd to 59d, third blacks to second blacks to 40d. third lawn 50d to 57d, second fawn 74d to 79d, hareskins 50d to 68d. first stoat skins 4s to 6s lid each.
