CHURCH CONGRESS AND HUMAN SUFFERING
Sir. —Another way of solving the difficulty of human suffering is to lock it in the face and understand it.
“Faithful Unto Death’’ tells us that suffering is for a moment, when the whole world is growing. Nor can he proclaim a creator of evil other than God. It is by life after life of evil and suffering that we learn to know the ultimate pleasures of goodness and joyfulness. Christ, we are told in the Scriptures, was made perfect through suffering.—Yours, etc., EVE-EL. May 31, 1950.
