Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations, 1949, notice is hereby given that the Mam Highways Board, for the purpose of Road Trials v motor) proposes, subject to the approval of the Minister of Transport, to close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.

During the proposed period of closure, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic, which would otherwise use the road. Road will be open after each trial, and a period of waiting should not exceed 10 minutes Any person objecting to the proposals is called upon to lodge notice of his objection and grounds thereof in writing before 7 th day of June, 1950, at the office of the Board’s Representative at Ministry of Works, Worcester street, Christchurch. Road proposed to be closed to ordinarv vehicular traffic is Christchurch-Kumara Junction S.H. Aylesbury and Kirwee section. Period of proposed closure: 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on 2nd July, 1950.
