(Rec. 9 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 28. Judith Copion, aged 29. a former employee of the United States Justice Department who has been convicted twice of conspiring to commit espionage on behalf of Russia, was married to-day to Mr Albert Socolov, aged 29, a member of the law firm which represents her. Mrs Socolov at present is on bail, pending appeals against her convictions. She faces a minimum sentence of 18 1-3 years’ imprisonment if the appeals fail. Mr Socolov said that he and his wife were confident of the future and sure that the appeals would succeed.
