PHILIPPINE PRISONERS RIOT

(Rec. 7.30 p.m.) MANILA, May 26. Serious rioting broke out to-day at the Muntinglupa prison, 20 miles south of Manila. Eleven prisoners and one guard are reported to have been killed in a riot involving some 2000 prisoners. There are about 5000 prisoners at the Muntinglupa penitentiary. Police and other Government forces surrounded the area, and are reported to have quelled the trouble.
