GUN DOG TRIALS
CANTERBURY CLUB A successful trial was held by the Canterbury Gun Dog Club at Mr Gillett’s property. Hare wood. The open event, a sportsman’s trial, was won by Mr J. Stanton’s English springer spaniel. Dalkey Dabble, a consistent performer. Good entries were received for all classes and some good performances were seen. Special trials will be held by the club to mark the centennial of the province on November 11 and 12. Results:— Open Class.—J. Stanton’s English Springer Spaniel, Dalkey Dabble (177) 1; H.
