HORORATA BEATS KIRWEE A match between the Hororata and Kirwee Miniature Rifle Clubs was held on the Kirwee range recently, resulting in a win for Hororata. Best scores were:— Hororata: A. Halliday, 79, 80; E. Fleming, 79, 76; J. Thorne, 78, 75; E. Belcher, 77, 75; L. Derrett, 74, 77; M. Rothwell. 75, 75. Kirwee: M. Wilson, 77, 77; N. Frizzell, 77, 76; H. Walker, 71, 79; R. Bedford. 75. 75; R. Pascoe, 72, 78; G. Middlewood, 73, 77. Kirwee.— The weekly competition of the Kirwee Miniature Rifle Club was won by M. Wilson. The best scores of the weekly shoot were:—H. Bedford, D. Bell 79, R Bedford, B. Begg. G. Middlewood, R. Pascoe 78, N. Frizzell, P. Stott, M. Wilson 77. M. Batstone, A. Davies, H. Walker 76, S. Walker 75, D. Stanley, R. Voice 73. Hawarden.— At the weekly shoot of the Hawarden Miniature Rifle Club, the third i club competition was continued and the C. E. Mason Challenge Cup competition for the 1950 season was commenced.
