FEAST DAY OF ST. BEDE

MASS CELEBRATED AT CATHEDRAL

The feast day of St. Bede the Venerable, the patron saint of St. Bede’s College, was celebrated on Saturday when old boys £nd pupils of the col T lege attended Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. The celebrant was the Rector of St. Bede’s (the Rev. Father J. Mannix, S.M.), the deadon was the Rev. Dr. G. Harrison, and the sub-deacon the Rev. Father T. Liddy, all of whom are old boys of the college. The sermon was given by the Rev Father F. Bartley, S.M., a former teacher. A choir of priests sang the Mass.
