ST.JOHN'S METHODIST CHURCH
DEDICATION of hall . The Peace Memorial Hall and Sunday School of the St. John’s Methodist Church. Bryndwr. was dedicated before a crowd of about 600 yesterday. The Rev. E. Drake, the chairman of trustees, opened the building. The dedicatory prayer and the lesson were foad by the connexional secretary, the Rev. H. L. Fiebig and the Rev. D. B. Gordon. The act of dedication was led | by the president of the Methodist Conference (the Rev. H. J. Odell), who ?? ong ottiers addressed the gathering. The war memorial was unveiled by Mr k. H. McKenzie. The Prime Minister ' ( Mr Holland) as represented by Mr J < K. McAlpine, M.P.. and Miss M. B. who helped to raise the pioney, was also present. I- The hall, which cost about £5OOO, is ? practically completed. It will be used a Sunday school and a youth hall |agnd for meetings of the community. |Kt is of brick and concrete and the 'ijlFfor space is 70ft by 80ft. Eventually is hoped to build rooms at the back £'•- the halL
