AN APPEAL

The lady gditor would be grateful to any reader of “The Press” who would lend a radio set to an invalid girl, aged 18. The girl has been very ill in hospital and is still far from well. In addition to her illness, her sight has become affected, making it possible for her to read only for a very short time. She has become depressed and as her illness is likely to continue for some time, her doctor has recommended that she should have a radio, but her family is not in a position to buy one for her use. If any kind person would lend a radio set the lady editor undertakes to- acknowledge the generous gesture and to arrange to have the set delivered.
