Sale of Country Club House

The Glendowie Country. Club property. one of Auckland’s oldest country club houses, has been bought for £13.000 by the Redemptorist Fathers, a Roman Catholic preaching and mission order. It will be used for a preparatory training school for the order. This order was established in Wellington 50 years ago and founded a house in Christchurch in 1905. This will be the order’s first permanent establishment in the Auckland diocese. (P.A.)
