CONWAY RABBIT BOARD

Sir, —I would like to make the request to the chairman (Mr R. Laidlaw) and members of the Conway Rabbit Board that, in the interests of all. a meeting of ratepayers be held immediately to discuss the matter of subdivision. In support of my request I wish to state that there are those in both northern and southern areas who are adequately rated, as well as those in both areas who are inadequately rated. As long as there are those who are inadequately rated the Crown grant (which is over and above subsidy) will be withheld. This applies, regardless of subdivision. Ratepayers in both areas have requested a meeting.—Yours, etc.. G. ROBT. HAMILTON. Kaikoura, May 3, 1950.
