Centennial Procession.— The Canterbury Education Board decided on Friday to take part in the “100 Years of Progress” procession as part of the Canterbury Centennial Celebrations by entering a float. The decision was made in response to a letter from the Canterbury Centennial Association inviting the board to participate. “I think we should anticipate in this,” said Mr F. G. Armstrong. “The board has been in existence for 85 years and has contributed to the progress of Canterbury as much as any other body, if not more.”
