CHRISTCHURCH CLUB Riding off the 7min mark, D. Pders won an inter-club 25-mile amateur cycle road race on Saturday by two lengths from D. King. There were 103 starters. Results:— D. Peers 1, D. King. 2, R. Thomson 3, R. Keating 4, B. Remi 5. A. Woods 6. Fastest times were: R. Elliott. Ihr 2min 15sec, 1; M. Wylie. Ihr 2min 15 l-ssec, 2; T. Cameron, Ihr 2min 15 2-ssec, 3. CHRISTCHURCH CASH CLUB The Christchurch Cash Cycling Club held a race of 20 miles over a shingle and hill course at Halswell on Saturday afternoon. The scratch men, B. Froggatt, K. Sutherland, and F. Chapman, conceded a start of 9min to the limit men. L. Cairns, off the limit, rode a solid race to win easily from L. Arnst. with F. Chapman, in third place, leading the scratch men. Results:— L. Cairns (9min), 66min 45sec, 1; L. H. Arnst (9min), 67min lOsec, 2; F. Chapman (scr), 59min 15 3-ssec, 3; R Falconer (4min), 63min 15 4-ssec, 4; B. Weir (2min), 61min 22sec, 5; L.
