NEUTRALITY TOWARDS INDO CHINA

(Rec. 11 p.m.) NEW DELHI, May 22. The Indian Prime Minister (Pandit Nehru), speaking at a press conference, affirmed that India's participation in the Commonwealth conference in Sydney was in keeping with her attitude of neutrality towards IndoChina.

“Under the conference’s decisions, any two countries in the South-east

Asian region can enter into bilateral arrangements.” said Pandit Nehru. “India, for instance, might make such arrangements with Indonesia, which would have nothing to do With India's attitude towards Indo-China.’’
