The engagement is announced of Rona Myrtle, younger daughter of Mrs and the late Mr T. E. Boyle. Fendalton, to Joseph James (Rocky), second son of Mr and Mrs Rpns, Liverpool. The engagement is announced of Warwick David, son of Mr and Mrs J. H. Wadworth, Brancott, Blenheim, and Katherine Mary, daughter of Mr and Mrs H. M. Burgin, Crosby, Swannanoa, Rangiora. Miss N. Gleeson, who has been matron of the Girls’ Friendly Society hostel in Wellington for 30 years, has retired from that position. She will live in Auckland.
