CHURCH HALL MOVED TO NEW SITE

METHODIST SECTION IN SHIRLEY BLOCK

A Sunday School nail which had been semi-detached from the Madras Street Methodist Church, was moved by trailer from its old site at the corner of Madras street and Edgeware road to the Church’s new section on Hills road in the Shirley housing settlement yesterday.

It was the intention of the church authorities to move all the Madras street church buildings to the new site, said the Rev. Archer Harris last evening. The Madras street church was about 30 years old. After the winter, when it was possible to work .on the ground, the church itself would be moved in sections, said Mr Harris,
