DANGER TO CITY LESSENED (Rec. 10 p.m.) OTTAWA, May 20. . Fifty-five thousand weary "flood fighters got the first good news in a fortnight when officials announced today that the danger to Winnipeg had lessened. Officials warned, however, that the Red river would stay near its peak for some time and continue to press I against miles of protecting dykes More than 10,000 homes have been flooded. •
