QUEENSLAND DEFEATS VICTORIA

(Rec. 8.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, Feb. 6. After dismissing Victoria for 88 runs in the second innings in a Sheffield match to-day, Queensland went on to win the match by two wickets. Victoria* made 300 in its first innings, and Queensland 254. In Victoria’s second innings Raymer took five wickets for 35, and Smith three for 35. Queensland, in its second innings, lost eight wickets for 135 (Tallon 58 not out; Iverson five for 48, Ring three for 67).
