Work will be begun immediately on the Glenelg Spur road from Centaurus road to the children’s health camp by • the City Council. When the necessary land for widening has been bought, the road construction completed, and the consent of the Ministry of Works obtained, the road win be dedicated as a public street. Tne cost of the work is estimated at £94u. exclusive of legal costs and purchase of the land to give a width of 40 feet. The King George Memorial Fund Board is to be responsible for the cost of constructing a legal roadway into the camp, and some of the cost will be recovered from residents, ah of whom are prepared to contribute;
