SHEFFIELD COUNTRY GIRLS’ CLUB
The monthly meeting of the Sheffield Country Girls’ Club was held in the A. and P. room recerftly. There was an attendance of 21 girls, some of whom were visiting the district and were interested in the club. Mrs Redfern, of Da'rfield, gave an interesting demonstration of floral decorating. Competition results were:—darning the sock. Miss A. Adams 1, Miss M. Mora 2, Miss N. Fantham 3; cookery book cover, Mrs R. Baxter 1. Miss J. Mora 2. The roll call for next meeting will be: suggestions for raising funds for the country girls’ Dominion conference.
