SOVEREIGNTY OF INDONESIA
DUTCH PARLIAMENT PASSES BILL
THE HAGUE. December 21. The Upper House of the Dutch Parliament to-day approved the bill for the transfer of sovereignty to Indonesia by 34 votes to 15. The measure has already passed the Lower House. It will now go to Queen Juliana for ratification in readiness for the actual handing over of sovereignty to the Indonesians on December 27.
