“The Press” Special Service WELLINGTON. November 7. The weather forecast for Canterbury. Issued at 9 p.m. by the Meteorological Office. Wellington, and dealing with the 20 hours following the time of issue, is as follows: — Situation: an anti-cyclone is moving across the Tasman towards New Zealand. Winds light or moderate and variable. Some isolated showers about Banks Peninsula, but weather otherwise fair to fine. Temperatures cool. Further outlook: fair. WEST COAST * The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Moderate south-west winds. Some isolated showers; weather otherwise fair to cloudy. Temperatures cool. Further outlook: similar conditions.
