FRENCH DEPUTY ARRESTED

alleged complicity in THEFT OF BONDS (Rec. 7 p.m.) PARIS, November 3. A few moments after he had been stripped of his Parliamentary immunity in the French National Assembly, a Right-Wing deputy, Antoine de Recy. was arrested on charges connected with the theft of 100,000,009 francs (£ 100,000) in Treasury bonds. The bonds were stolen earlier this year from the City Treasury of Arras, in northern France. Three alleged members of the gang which staged the robbery were ar-, rested during the summer, and the local public prosecutor named de Recy as a leading member of the gang. He could not be arrested sooner because of his immunity as a member of the Assembly. To-day, police were posted at all the doors of the Assembly, and de Recy was arrested as he walked Out De Recy, who is 36, was a leader of the French resistance movement during the wat.
