WOOL PROFITS
Sir, —The Commonwealth Government is doing the right thing in proposing to pay £.25000.000 profits on wool to the growers, to whom it belongs. Note what is being done in New Zealand. Without consulting the growers. th° Woo] Board has connived with the Government to plaoe their money into a fund, which th? present generation of wool growers, to whom it belongs, will never see. What are Federated Farmers doing about it? A plebiscite of woolgrowers should be taken on this question—Yours, etc.. PLUCKED Waipara, October 15, 1949.
