MOTOR CYCLIST DIES FROM INJURIES
(New Zealand Press Association.) AUCKLAND. October 16. A motor-cyclist who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital with serious head injuries after an accident on Monday died in hospital to-day. He was John Bathgate McKay, aged 41. an engineer, of Takapuna. McKay was injured when the machine he was riding was involved in a head-on collision with a motor-car in Devonport. THREE MEN RESCUED IN HARBOUR SAILING BOAT CAPSIZES (New Zealand Press Association.) AUCKLAND, October 16. Three men were rescued in the Auckland harbour after their 14ft yacht had capsized midway l.('tween Devonport and Tamaki this rftcrncon. The owner of the yacht. Mr Max Neale, was treated for shock at the Auckland Hospital, but was not .admitted. His two companions were able to return home after they had been examined by a doctor.
