MID-CANTERBURY DECISIONS A motion recommending that the lamb schedule for first quality lamos be at a flat rate up to 421 b was carried by 10 votes to seven at a , mec ’z ing of the meat and wool section oi Mid-Canterbury' Federated Farmers yesterday. In addition to the chairman (Mr D: S. Studholme), the vicechairman (Mr L. P. Todhunter) two members abstained from voting A motion that, in the opinion °* members, the difference in price between first and second-grade lamos was too wide, was lost by one vote. It was considered that such a motion would prejudice the quality of N e " Zealand meat in overseas markets.
