STOCK SALES

TINWALD Prices were firm and all classes sold well at the Tinwald cattle sale yesterday. There was a yarding c-f about 600. all in good condition. Aberdeen Angus steer calves sold at prices ranging from £6 to £8 10s, Herefords from £5 10s to £B, and Shorthorn from £5 to £B. Aberdeen Angus heifer calves sold at prices ranging from £4 10s to £6, Shorthorns from £4 to £7 2s 6d, and Herefords from £3 10s to £5 ss. Steers, 18 months, ranged from £9 to £ll, fat cows to £l3, and Shorthorn bulls to £l4 2s 6d.
