FALLING COPPER PRICE
The world export price of electrolytic copper has been reduced in New York from 20 cents (nominal) to 18’ z2 cents (nominal) per lb. The total reduction in price since the peak was passed last August is 21 per cent. The new price is equivalent to about £stglo6 18s a ton, London delivered basis, whereas the British Ministry of Supply’s price remains at £l4O a ton.
