SOUTHERN BUS SERVICE

Sir.—As a regular traveller between Christchurch and Invercargill I sincerely support the pronosed road service mentioned in “The Press” of March 30. Such a service is essential to the tourist progress of the South Island. South Islanders should sunport progress within their own island —Yours, etc., W. MURREY. March 30, 1949.
