PILOTS COMPLETE COURSE

CERTIFICATES PRESENTED AT WIGRAM Five members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force were presented with their instrument flying certificates by the commanding officer of Wigram station (Wing Commander A. B. Greenaway) yesterday. They are the first class of pilots at Wigram since the war to -complete a refresher course in a new syllabus which includes allweather flying. They had all reached wings standard in the Royal New Zealand Air Force at the end of the war. Some were demobilised, and others went into ground trades. Re-enlisting in the regular Air Force as pilots, they have just completed a six months’ course to be promoted to the rank of pilot 4. They will be posted to squadrons throughout New Zealand. They are Pilots G. H. Tosland (Hawera), C. S. Grey (Wellington), B. McGill (Tauranga), H. G. Moss (Auckland), and I. G. Tillson (Wellington).
