JUNIOR SHIELD MATCHES
FINALS TO BE PLAYED TO-DAY * The Canterbury junior tennis teams will play Auckland in the final of the Howe and Slazenger Shield matches at Wilding Park to-day. In the North Island finals and the South Island finals last Saturday, the Auckland teams both beat Wellington, the Canterbury boys’ team beat North Otago, and the Canterbury girls’ team beat Otago. "the teams are:— Canterbury.—Boys: A. N. Bailey, W. Logan, D J. Wakelin, G. R. Falloon, Girls: Misses M. Falck, J. Tregear, V. Stanton, and P. Allen. Auckland.—Boys: M. A. Otway, P. T. Healey, R. Jackson,'J. Thompson. Girls: Misses E. Becroft, M. Morrison, P. Raines, J. Callinan.
