ACCIDENTS
MAN DROWNED DINGHY OVERTURNS IN SURF (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH. Dec. 19. One of two brothers who were occupants of a dinghy that overturned in the surf off Ohawe beach, near Hawera yesterday, was drowned. He was Bertram John Goodman, aged 35, of Chawe. a gasworks employee. He was exhausted when picked up on a surf ski, and was dead when brought to the shore.
