BOROUGH COUNCIL MEETING There were only two cases of infectious disease, both scarlet fever, in Lyttelton this year, according to the report presented to the meeting of the Borough Council last evening by the borough inspector (Mr H. G. Ablett). A grant of £5 was made to the Nurse Maude Association. The council decided to pay up to £250 against any loss on the Canterbury Centenary Games.
