HORNBY BUS ROUTE
A recommendation by the Christchurch City Council traffic committee that the inward busts from Templeton enter the city via Montreal street. Worcester street (stop at Chamber of Commerce corner), along Oxford terrace. over Hereford street bridge (stop on west side), to Montreal street and out by the original route was reversed by the Christchurch Metropolitan Licensing Authority vesterday. 4 After hearing representations from the Hornby Residents’ Association, the traffic committee, and the Christchurch Tramway Board the authority agreed to advise the No. 3 Transport Licensing Authority that the route, approved would be from the hospital along Oxford terrace. Montreal street. Hereford street (stop and terminus on west side), Oxford terrace. Worcester street. Montreal street, Oxford terrace, and out by original route.
