Sir, —Does it occur to the Christians of Christchurch that they might celebrate the centennial by emulating the Amsterdam Assembly in the southern hemisphere? All churches might cooperate, inviting famous speakers from oversea to regenerate enthusiasm, stimulate hearts, to willing Samaritan e work, not just for oversea missions. or« opening purses for United Nations appeals, but for those in need or difficulty. spiritual, mental, or physical, in our midst.—Yours, etc., AN ART NOT A GAME.
